Shellybird Shortpost: WOO WEE, It's Been A Minute

WOO WEE! It's been a minute since my last post--a MONTH, to be exact. I have a lot going on. My bestie is getting married in 2 weeks, 3 days after my 41st bday. As per our pact made 20 years ago in college, I am a bridesmaid. Of course, she will be mine if I ever find a man to marry. Hell, I'm hoping to have a date for this event but my "relationship" with Daniel has been seeing more lows than highs as of late. It's swinging lower than that sweet chariot of the old Negro spiritual, and it's taken me to a lot of places, but not home. I still hate my job. Proof that God exists is the fact that I still have the aforementioned job. In case you are wondering, I am still dealing with my smoking issue, but I did quit for a day last week! WOOT...I will give more detailed posts soon for the handful of you who've been following this. I hate it when a blog I enjoy reading lies dormant. Unless bloggers are paid, they--myself included--are under no obligation to post regularly, but it's common courtesy to toss something out there on a semi-regular basis. Keep a journal or dairy otherwise is the way I see it. That said, I'm out, but I'll be talking to you soon...
